Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant

Venture Trailers, Inc. is seeking a AP/AR Assistant to join our team! This position serves a key role in working with our accounting department to ensure that each customer request is handled to satisfaction and completion.

  • Invoicing customer accounts for deliveries
  • Creating work orders and build schedules
  • Paying bills to vendors
  • Creating VIN numbers for boat trailers
  • Creating titles for boat trailers
  • Accounts Receivable audits to ensure accuracy of information
  • Data entry as needed
  • Continuously expand knowledge of our product line
  • Always deliver exceptional customer service
  • Following up with customers to ensure overall satisfaction
  • Contributing to the department and company’s success by meeting and exceeding all performance objectives
  • Quickly identify and resolve customer issues when things don’t quite go as planned
  • Work cooperatively with the rest of the team
  • Report customer issues to management
  • Additional duties as assigned by Accounting Manager
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years in AR and AP functions
  • At least 2 years customer service experience
  • Exceptional phone presence
  • A positive, friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Problem solving with the ability to prioritize
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multitasking is essential
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, written and verbal communication skills
  • Mature attitude when dealing with customers
