Meet a member of the Venture Trailers family.

As a family-owned and operated company, we think our employees are pretty special.

Zoe Riley

Controller

Tell us a little about yourself.

I grew up and went to school in Missouri. After I received my degree, I moved to help a church in Maryland. Twelve years later, here I am. I’ve been at Venture Trailers for eight and a half years.

What are your key responsibilities as Controller?

I manage the sales staff, handle the financials, run human resources, and basically anything else they need me to do to help run the business. It’s a very internal role so I don’t have a ton of interaction with our dealers.

What do you love about working at Venture Trailers?

I love a lot of things! I love that it’s family-owned. I love the people who work here. We have a ton of fun at work but know how to get the job done when we need to.

If you were a boat, what kind would you be?

I’d be a bass boat because I can go fast if I need to, but I can also putt around and go fishing with friends if I want.

What’s one thing people should know about Venture Trailers?

Venture Trailers is very customer-oriented. It should be a given for any business, but today, customer service has gone by the wayside. Even though the boat trailer business hasn’t changed much, we want our customers to know we take pride in our service.

What are three words to describe Venture Trailers?

Fun, laid-back, homey. It’s home away from home.

How has Venture Trailers changed since you started working here?

We’re more up to speed with technology than 8 years ago. The company is more flexible with the culture, within reason. Work has to be a place you enjoy going to and they make sure it is.
